Stock firmware isn't able to manage 3G on both sim slots but with a modded firmware we can switch 3G on sim 1 and sim 2
Red Rice is based on MTK 6589 chipset with native dsds sim support. With this modded rom we can re-enbable this functionality

Howto and warnings:
Guideline is for WCDMA version. For advanced users

If you don't have root and modded recovery installed execute this steps

Make a full backup of your system (nandroid backup) very useful to easy switch back to old firmware

You can now REBOOT - SYSTEM, answer do not fix in the popup window and reboot phone

Yes it's mtk 6592 based device
Mediatek 6592 chipset is able to manage 3g on both sim slots (not at the same time). This functionality must be software enabled. If stock firmware is missing this option a modded one can  make the trick ;)
