Dear Customers, Happy New Year in 2018. The Chinese Spring Festival is approaching. It’s the most important Festival for Chinese people around the world, just like Christmas. All of Chinese take this opportunity to get together with their families and friends. When does China Warehouse go on Holiday The arrangement of HonorBuy Team (China Warehouse) Spring Festival Holiday is from Feb. 11 to Feb. 21 (as shown in the picture below), 11 days in total. We expecte to be back to work on Feb. 22 2018. Shipments Delays in China Warehouse Shipments will be stopped in China Warehouse during the holiday. If you choose the shipping option from China warehouse, please note that there will be a 11 days delay. Most of the Chinese shipping companies will have a 7-14 days holiday during the Spring Festival. The estimated delivery times will be delayed and it may be delayed up to 14 days . EU Warehouse Works As Nomal Our EU warehouse will work as normal. If you choose the shipping option from our EU warehouse (EU Warehouse Express), we will handle the shipments within 48 hours after the payment verification. Normally it takes 2-5 business days for the delivery. Customer Service Delays For some inquires and support service there will be a little delay in the replies during the holiday. Some customers get a message which may as “Looks like the ROM installed on your device is unofficial,contact your distributor to get help” on the top of the screen of Redmi 5/Redmi 5 Plus,please do not worry about it. This is normal for a leaked multi language ROM and here we provide you a method to fix this bug.It will disappear if you set your phone as this way: Go to settings: System apps – Security – Disable “Allow internet connection”. Mi Devices Bootloader Unlocking FAQ
Here’re some FAQ you need to know. Why did Mi lock the bootloader for Mi devices? Mi is an international brand now, but it’s only in few countries currently, and is still in the stage of expanding its international market. So it’s difficult for users from countries where Mi is not officially sold to buy Mi phones. Many users have taken the risk of buying from an unofficial reseller. But they sometimes get fake Mi phones, or Mi phones with unofficial ROM loaded with bloatware. You guys must have seen some users asking in the forum whether their Mi phones are genuine, or that they have weird ROM version installed on their new phones. This is really bad for user experience, and it might even cause property loss if some malware are installed. This situation also exists in China market. Another problem Mi users have often encountered is that, after their Mi phones are lost or stolen, the person who got the device could easily flash a new ROM into it, and makes it almost impossible for our users to get their phones back. In the recent MIUI developer version update, we’ve added a feature that needs users to enter their Mi account info to use the phone after doing a full wipe. Head towards http://en.miui.com/unlock for English site and apply for unlocking. You shall reach the page showing application form like this. If the English site is not working on Chrome, do try on other browsers or clear cache data of your browser. You can also apply using your device with default Mi browser on your phone. Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus Multi Language ROM Problem Solved
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is soon becoming one of the most popular phone after it’s released. To satisfy more customers,we installed the Multi Language ROM on this phone. Please kindly note that this is a leaked ROM by someone and Xiaomi hasn’t release the Multi Language ROM officially. If your phone get a message which may as “Looks like the ROM installed on your device is unofficial,contact your distributor to get help” on the top of the screen,please do not worry about it. This is normal and here we provide you some methods to fix this bug. 1.Follow the steps to flash this New Multi Language ROM Note: A Windows PC/laptop will be needed for the following steps. Make sure that your device is fully charged or has enough power for this process. All user data will be purged in this process. Please back up your data and think twice before proceeding. STEP1 Please click here to unlock the bootloader first. (Very Important!!!) After unlocking your phone,please Download MIUI ROM Flashing Tool (Size: 46 MB). Download Redmi 5 Plus Global Stable ROM(Size: 1.85GB). STEP2 Turn off the device. Press the Volume– key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. Then connect the device to the Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable. STEP3 Double click on the downloaded ROM file to decompress it. Open the file folder for the decompressed ROM pack, and copy its path on the computer. STEP4 Decompress the MIUI ROM flashing tool downloaded in Step 1, and double click on it to install (if there is security warning, select ‘Run’). After installation is completed, open MiFlash.exe and paste into the address bar the ROM file folder path copied in the last step. Click on the first button (circled out in yellow) to Refresh, and MiFlash should automatically recognize the device. Then click the second button (circled out in red) to flash the ROM file to the device. STEP5 Wait until the progress bar inside MiFlash turns fully green, which means the ROM has been successfully installed. Then your device should automatically boot to the new version.
